M.A Eligibility

At Akal University, to get into their M.A. program, you usually need to have scored at least 60% in your graduation or equivalent exams. But they're considerate about different circumstances. So, if you're from the SC/ST community or have a disability, you can still apply if you have 55% or above.

Candidates need to complete a bachelor's degree of three or four-years from a university recognised by UGC to apply for MA programme. Aspirants need to secure a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent to apply for MA. Students who are in their final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply.

Candidates seeking admission to Mangalayatan University Jabalpur MA course must meet the minimum Mangalayatan University MA eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Bachelor’s degree examination preferably in the relevant subject, from a recognised University with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates who belong to reserved category) can apply for admission to the MA programme.

Candidates must complete bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 55% aggregate or equivalent (50% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for Cluster University Srinagar MA programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. 

Candidates willing to get admission to MA course at Creative Multimedia College of Fine Arts must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as per the course requirements. Candidates must hold a UG degree in any stream from a recognised university.

Candidates must complete a minimum of graduation to apply for any of the Alagappa University MA specialisations. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages. The university selects candidates for MA based on their merit in the last qualifying exam.

For admission to MA in Journalism and Mass Communication, aspirants should have passed the degree course with a minimum of 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST). Additionally, a 50% minimum aggregate is required for admission to the MA in Life Skill Education course.

SLS, Pandit Deendayal Energy University shortlists candidates for MA programme based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Below is the criteria and weightage for SLS PDEU MA:

Candidates need to complete a bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate to apply for SLS, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) MA course. The students expecting their qualifying degree result on/ before 30th September of the admission year can also apply.

To pursue Mass Communication M.A (Mass Communication) through PUCAT, candidates need to be a graduate in any discipline with 45% marks. 5% relaxation for SC/ST students. The duration of Mass Communication MA (Mass Communication) course is of 2 Years. However, candidates are suggested to refer the Shiksha's page or the official website of PUCAT to know in detail about PUCAT exam.

The admission to M.A. at Garware Institute of Career Education and Development is done on the basis of entrance exam. The accepted exam is SMAT. The eligibility includes the applicant to have passed undergraduate course from a recognised university. However, it is to be noted that the colllege does not offer M.A. in Education.
