The eligibility criteria to get admission into the MA course at the Center of Excellence in Public Policy, Sustainability and ESG Research is that candidates must complete their graduation from any relevant field with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for the final selection process, the institute releases a merit list on the basis of candidates achieving scores in their graduation/ bachelor's degree or equivalent.

The general eligibility criteria required by the university to grant admission to a MA course at Azim Premji University is that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree from the recognised board with at least 50% aggregate. However, for admission to MA in Economics, candidates must complete their BA degree in Economics, and for MA in Public Health, candidates with a three-year bachelor's degree must have at least a year of work experience in a relevant field. 

For the final selection process, the university accepts the scores of two entrance examinations, i.e., the CUET PG and the in-house university entrance exam (APU NET)

For Vidyasagar University MA admission, candidates must have a three years BA Honours/Major degree in a relevant field from a recognised University with at least 50% marks (45% for Sports/OBC-A/OBC-B category and 40% for SC/ST/PD category) in the Honours papers. Candidates seeking admission to MA course at Vidyasagar University must apply online by visiting the official website of the University. During form filling, candidates have to upload these documents, hence, scanned copies should be kept handy during the process.

Different colleges have different criteria for admission. Most of the MA Public Administration colleges accept admission on the basis of undergraduate degree while there are a few top colleges that additionally require entrance exam qualification for admission.

Merit-based Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the MA programme, candidates must meet the course-specific eligibility criteria.
