Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and at least 50% marks in the subject concerned from a recognized Institute/ University. OR Candidate passed Graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the allied subjects viz., all Social science subjects, Philosophy, Communication, Linguistics from a recognized Institute/ University are also eligible to apply.
The exact cut off marks is not yet released by them

Hello dear student, the Aligarh Muslim University is India's one of the high-ranking famous central universities. AMU is a highly reputable and one of the most demanding university of India. Though its name indicates Muslim but it takes students from all cultures and religions. AMU has a special quota for muslim candidates and minorities. The fee structure for masters of arts in sociology at Aligarh Muslim University is about Rs 1,20,000 approx for the course. I hope it will help you. Keep studying-go for shiksha.

The fee structure at Shri Varshney College, Aligarh for M.A. in sociology is around Rs.800 for 2 year course i.e; Rs.400 per year

I hope that you are doing well in your studies. You have taken a good decision to take admitted in Mizoram university. It is a very fantastic university in Northeastern region. Mizoram University is a central university under the University Grants Commission, Government of India, and was established on 2 July 2001, by the Mizoram University ACT of the Parliament of India it is located in Aizawl. Hello Rimpidas. The cutoff data is not clear yet. however, this given information may help you in some ways. Candidate must have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 45% marks (40% marks or equivalent Grade Point for reserved category candidates) in the Major/Honours subject from a recognized Institute/ University. OR Candidate passed Bachelor's Degree with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent Grade Point (45% marks or equivalent Grade Point for reserved category candidates) if not having any Major/Honours subject from a recognized Institute/ University are also eligible to apply.
