Public Administration, which has a diverse scope, is the art and science of management of affairs in government, business and all enterprises to attain organization goals.
With Globalization & a revolution in Information Technology public servants, and academics, all are facing challenges of updated knowledge about Public Administration. This has given rise to a huge requirement for specialized field of Public Administration. The eligibility for MPA in most of the good Institutes is graduation from any stream. Some institutes may also ask for particular entrance Exam or aggregate percentage in Graduation.
Career openings in India in public administration are predominantly in the Government and Public Sectors. However, the non government sector is also not untouched in the sectors like Banking Finance etc.
The premiere Institutes in India for MPA are Jamia Milia Islamia University, Annamalai University, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Madurai Kamaraj University, IGNOU, IIMs, XLRI, S.P.Jain.
Remember not all these Institutes will provide the regular programs Or Masters level program.

There are lot of job opportunities after post graduation in geoinformatics and the major employers in the field of geoinformatics are the Central and State governments. Central government agencies are under the Department of Space - National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA Hyderabad), North East Space Application Centre, (NESAC Shillong), Regional Remote Sensing Application Centre (RRSAC Kharagpur, Dehradun, Jodhpur, Nagpur and Bangalore), Indian Space Research Organisation, (ISRO Bangalore), Advanced Data Processing Research Institute (ADRIN Hyderabad) and Space Application Centre (SAC Ahmedabad) apart from Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI) and Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR). State governments offer jobs in their individual National Informatics Centre (NIC) and Space Application Centres with various State Electricity Boards lined up to implement geoinformatics as well.
In the private sector companies like Google, TCS, Reliance Industries, Reliance Communciations, Reliance Energy, CyberTech Systems, Geofiny Technologies, Magnasoft Technology Services provide numerous job opportunities
