I Agree. IGNOU is the world's largest University as far as students strength is concerned. ofcourse the standard is not very good. But a lot also depends on teh student. If you need a degree for your career growth, go to IGNOU. If you wish to start your career based on the degree, go for a full time course from a good college or University. Distance education is not a good choice if you have to start your career based on that degree.

If you get admission into Chitrabani,Kolkata,then fine. Other wise, do your mass communication from a fully recognized Grade A university in South like Nitte University, Mangalore or Manipal University, Udupi. These are safe places and cosmopolitan. Age is never a problem when it comes to education. To become a successful psychologist in India, you will have to follow an entire degree course; that is Bachelor's program in psychology, followed by Master's degree, and then PhD in this subject.
