Basic eligibility that is asked for this course is B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc. degree with minimum 50% marks. Tuition fees for the course ranges from 3,000 INR to 10,000 INR in government institutions and 20,000 INR to 50,000 INR in private.
Every university conduct their own entrance exam for M.Sc. course. There is no joint examination for this programme. A candidate has to appear for the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET)conducted by different universities which is generally conducted in the month of May/June and notification for the same comes in the month of February every year in institutes like-
Universities like Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla offers direct admission on merit basis only. While Delhi University and Presidency College takes admission through both merit basis and PET. About 60% of seats are reserved for direct admissions for the students of respective university only and rest of the 40% admissions are taken through PET.

The candidate should be an Indian National
The candidates should satisfy local/unreserved status requirement as laid down in the Telangana educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) order 1974 and the amendments made there to from time to time. The candidate other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned
Educational Qualifications
All the courses are of two years duration
Candidates should have passed B.Sc., B.A (or) equivalent exam will not less than 40% in the aggregate (part-2) (For SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient) and studied the subjects given in official website
Candidates passing the Bachelors degree exam compartmentally are also eligible provided they secured not less than 40% aggregate marks and a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient for SC/ST
Candidates who have already passed their qualifying Degree Exam are also eligible provided they secured not less than 40% marks in aggregate (part-2 eligibility) (or) who have appeared for the final exam are also eligible
Age Limit
There is NO age restriction for appearing for OUCET-2018; the maximum eligible age for obtaining Fee/Scholarship reimbursement is as per the Govt. of Telangana State rules.
