Every university conduct their own entrance exam for M.Sc. course. There is no joint examination for this programme. A candidate has to appear for the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET)conducted by different universities which is generally conducted in the month of May/June and notification for the same comes in the month of February every year in institutes like-

The candidates should satisfy local/unreserved status requirement as laid down in the Telangana educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) order 1974 and the amendments made there to from time to time. The candidate other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned

Its very nice to know your desire to learn something different than engineering. Normally, open universities do not have any restriction on admitting students for any course and hence the concept of management quota is irrelevant. Also as its a distance learning method, there is no college. The University will send you all material and you have to study at your convenient time.
