First of all, education is not a waste of time, indeed an investment for future and career. Secondly, no short term certificate course can be equivalent to a Master’s degree.

For admission in M.A. in Modern History, you need to appear for JNUEEE exam. Admission is based on the rank Entrance exam and Deprivation points awarded, if applicable.

You can pursue MA Psychology from IGNOU. It's a distance learning program. Eligibility is graduation (any stream) from a recognized University. Program duration : Minimum 2years. and maximum 5 years. Program fees 13000/-
