The time duration allotted for the MA Sanskrit entrance exams is 2 hours. The admission test is carried out in a single paper of 100 marks. Four marks are granted for each correct answer, where one mark is reduced for each wrong answer. Anyway, the pattern of the admission test may vary with University that carries out the same.

It varies from 45 to 60% in various universities
The minimum criteria in JNU is Bachelor's degree in the 10+2+3 pattern of education with a minimum of 50% marks.
So, you can get admission in JNU. The notification for admission is published generally in the month of Feb-March every year.

a) At least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent.

(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.

(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
