GMCH Chandigarh - Government Medical College and Hospital MD admission is entrance based. To get admission, students must meet the eligibility and selection requirement. The eligibility requirement for admission in MD programme is a graduation degree in relevant field. The selection is based on scores of NEET PG entrance test, followed by the counselling process.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET PG Round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 55010 and closing rank was 55010 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MD in Community Medicine in Swami Ramanand Teerth Rural Medical College is based on the scores obtained in the NEET PG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
