There are a few practical subjects included in the UID Ahmedabad MDes (Fashion Design) course curriculum. Apart from this, theory subjects, such as basic design, textiles for fashion, fundamentals of fashion styling are included in the syllabus. Mentioned below are the lab subjects:

Unitedworld Institute of Design offers admission to the MDes programme based on score in UID Design Aptitude Test. This entrance exam is conducted by the institute for admission to courses offered at Ahmedabad and NCR campus. It is conducted in online mode and is of 100 marks in total. Candidates shortlisted based on exam score have to participate in situation test and portfolio evaluation for admission.

The overall cutoff for NID and UID is about 41 marks last year but it can change from year to year so it would be advisable to check Admissions criteria, including cutoff marks on the official website of UID Ahmedabad or contact the university directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information on admission requirements and cutoff marks for the B.Des program.
