M.Des Cut-off

In 2025, the NIFT cutoff ranks ranged between 364 and 461 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. So, yes, if you belong to the General AI category, there is a chance that you can secure a seat at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Gandhinagar, for the M.Des course. However, please note that admission will be granted only if you have a valid rank for a particular round, as the cutoff ranks vary for different rounds and categories. NIFT Kannur accepts NIFT Entrance Exam scores for admission to the M.Des courses. During NIFT Kannur cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank stood at 326 for the General All India category students. So, conidering the 2023 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to NIFT Kannur must secure over and above 300 rank to be eligible for M.Des admission.
