An MSc Interior Design and an MDes Interior Design differ based on their curriculum focus. MSc Interior Design is more focused on the research part of the field; however, the MDes is inclined toward the creativity and functionality aspects of Interior Designing. Now, which option is better is a subjective question, and its answer can vary from person to person. 
In my opinion, I would go for MDes in Interior Design in terms of job prospects, skills development, and industry exposure.

Direct admission to M.Des Interior Design at MGM College of Fine Art usually isn't like this. Candidates will need to possess either a B.Des degree or an equivalent degree qualifier with a minimum of 50% marks and then undertake an entrance test or portfolio review before being considered for admission.

Some private colleges do offer management quotas for direct admissions, but these are not widely publicized and carry almost exorbitant fees. Yes, many top Design colleges, including NIFT, NID, IIT, etc., conduct group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) rounds to offer a seat in the MDes Interior Design program. Mdes is a significant degree programme for any Design discipline, and GD PI rounds are conducted to assess the candidate's managerial and teamwork skills.

Both positive and negative sides prevail concerning study for the degree of M.Des in Interior Design at MGM College of Fine Art: the degree is admittedly somewhat difficult owing to the creative foundation and technical skills required. In view of this, the latest cutoff for M.Des Interior Design at MGM College of Fine Art, Aurangabad, has not been published for 2024. Usually, admission is granted based on different parameters .One being  entrance examination scores, Group.Two portfolio scores, and Group.Three academic records. MGM College of Fine Art is one of the BAMU affiliated institutes providing the choices of arts and designs and the cutoffs vary according to the demand in the students and number of seats available.
