USAR college review headline excellent infrastructure & labs, promising placement 9.5 LPA.
Placements: Early placements show promise, with the first batch of students securing up to 9.5 LPA, and internships are emerging. Reviews rate labs/library highly 8/10 but college life is lower 4/10 due to intensive schedules; AR branches fare better than others. USAR students often score higher than other IPU schools.
Infrastructure: The 18 acre campus features AC classrooms, advanced labs with 3D printers and robotics tools, a multi floor library, sports ground, badminton court and a net zero energy design. Student reviews raise infrastructure 8/10 but note limited college fests and strict attendance.
Faculty: Eligibility requires 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and admission is based on JEE Main ranks. The process involves applying through IPUs portals, counseling, and seat location check ipu AC. In for 2026 to 27 date. Certain impairments may disqualify candidates for some programs.
Other: USAR provides B.Tech programs in specialized fields like Automation & Robotics and Industrial IoT, each with 120 seats, totaling 480 across four streams. Integrated 5 year B.Tech/M Tech dual degrees are also available in similar specializations, with 120 seats each. The curriculum emphasizes hands on labs, projects, and industry interaction for practical skills.

It has decent placement and strong technical exposure.
Placements: I belong to the VTECAIML batch of the University School of Automation and Robotics. Around 70 to 77 percent of students from our college are placed through campus placement. The highest placement package offered is approximately 18 LPA. The lowest package is around 4 LPA, and the average package is near 7 LPA to 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at USAR is modern and well maintained. The campus provides high speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, advanced robotics, automation and AI electronics, and labs are well stocked. There are digital and physical libraries. Labs are equipped with real time, industrial tools, simulation, software and robotics kits which help in hands-on learning.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and supportive. Most teachers have strong, academic background, and industry exposure. They are always ready to help students with projects and research guidance. Teaching quality is good with a mixture of theory practical session and project based learning.
Other: The courses at US offer good value for money, considering the quality of education, infrastructure, experienced faculty, and placement opportunities. The campus crowd is diverse, disciplined, and academically focused with students from different backgrounds. Campus life is lively with technical fast, cultural events, hackathons, workshops, seminars, clubs, etc. Scholarships and financial assistance are available for eligible students. Extracurricular activities help in overall personality development.

Infrastructure is good, syllabus is updated, and focused on practical learning.
Placements: Placements are average. The package is around 8 LPA - 10 LPA in AI-ML and AIDS courses. The highest package is 28 LPA in IIOT, but average of IIOT is less. But still as compared to the rank in JEE at which it is available is value for money. 80-85% of students are placed. Companies like TCS and GoDaddy are recruiters.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is up to date, labs are updated, computer labs have i7-10generation processors, internet speed is 1000 MBPS, and connected using ethernet. The campus is fully air-conditioned. Auditorium is good. Campus size is not very large but it's satisfactory.
Faculty: Faculty is variable. Some are really good and some are not, but the courses which actually help in getting us placed in a company. We have good faculty, and they teach good. They focus more on practical learning than traditional theory things. Overall, it is satisfactory.

Good if you are not getting the Dwarka campus, DTU, or NSUT decent branches.
Placements: In 2024-25, around 45-50 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered is about 27 LPA, the average package is around 6 LPA, and the lowest package is approximately 3 LPA-4 LPA. The median is about 5 LPA. Only a limited number of students received on-campus internships, with most students securing off-campus internships. Common roles offered are Software Developer, Data Analyst, Cloud/DevOps, and technical roles.
Infrastructure: We have an average infrastructure, but a cool-looking building. Some labs in the 2nd and 3rd years don't have equipment. We have a sports hall, but you can only play badminton in it. There is no sports equipment in the college. Our ground is very small. We don't have a gym. Canteen food is decent and affordable.
Faculty: You get all types of teachers here, sweet, arrogant, who are only dependent on their PPTs and can't explain anything to anyone. Some are here to just release their student frustration. In this semester of 5 months, we have given exams for 3 months. I don't know whether this is for this semester or for all upcoming semesters.
Other: Our main fest is Anoogonj, which is held in the Dwarka campus. But our college also organizes multiple events, which are pretty good.

B.Des at GGSIPU, expectations vs reality.
Placements: B. Des placement rates are usually average with roles in design. Studios' branding, retail, and media outfits offering salaries between 3 and 6 LPA. On the other hand, internships are easier to find compared to final placements, and they help in networking. Overall, I would say placements are average for design students. Individual effort, portfolio, and strength matter a lot.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the campus is pretty solid. Overall, you will find centralized air-conditioned academic blogs with smart classrooms that are loaded with projector IC tools and AV labs. There are multiple computer and departmental labs. The library is fully automated and has essential air-cooled stock with a lot of books, e-books, journals, and major digital databases. There's also a fully functioning cafeteria, multipurpose hall, Wi-Fi, and auditorium for events.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified, supportive, and genuinely knowledgeable about design, at least that's what my parents and I have noticed so far. The curriculum is structured thoughtfully around foundation years. Lots of hands and exposure. Real project site visits, case studies, and educational trips are regularly done, which make you feel like you're learning something beyond only the theory part. We get 3 theory exams and 4 practical exams per semester. So you're not just asked to write SS, but we are also designing, representing, and depending on our work within a panel.
Other: Main festival of our college is the annual cultural last, which is Anugoonj, it lasts for three days in February and gets a lot of audience, not just from the main campus but over 127 affiliated IP colleges, it is filled with music, dance, drama workshops, and everything campus also runs a small scale and meaningful convenor events like speaker sessions, and interviews, smart India hackathon, NSS drives.

Facilities and faculty are good, placement is not that good, but yes, it can be.
Placements: In my batch, 50% of students got placed, and highest package is around 65 LPA, and lowest package is around 7 LPA. Students can get their internship from 2nd year, although percentage of internships is quite low, but yes, it will increase over the year, number of tech companies is larger.
Infrastructure: University School of Automation and Robotics offers a well-structured academic infrastructure to support the B.Tech in automation and robotics programme. Course is equipped with modern classrooms, specialized laboratories for robotics, automation, and embedded systems, as well as computer labs with updated software tools for simulation and design. The institute also encourages hands-on learning through workshops, industry projects, and research initiatives. In terms of accommodation, the university provides hostel facilities that are well-maintained and student-friendly, offering essential amenities such as furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, mess facilities, common rooms, and a safe environment.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, although they are strict in terms of internal marks, but overall, teachers are very good in terms of behaviour and academics too. Obviously, the course is relevant and also there are many subjects like human ethics and soft skills that make a student industry-ready in all forms. Mid-semester is very difficult, and end-semester is in medium range like neither difficult nor easy. Passing percentage is 80%.
