M.Pharma

AKTU offers six MPharm specialisations, including Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance. 

The skilled pharmacists can work in academia and share their knowledge with students in addition to working as pharmacists in these industries. They may also develop new medications for the industry while working in the medical research sector of the pharmaceutical sector.

With an M. Pharm, pharmacists can expect to make a good living and develop in their profession. Outpatients are helped as much as possible by medication specialists. Above all, it is crucial to feel morally satisfied as well as financially successful. The annual salary range for M.Pharma is between 6 and 8 lakhs.

Out of a total of 81 students placed during 2022 placements, 41 were from BPharma and 40 from MPharma courses. In 2021, the number of BPharma and MPharma students placed was relatively less and the count stood at 35 and 29, respectively. Yes, there are some government or private organizations that offer scholarships or financial assistance to students pursuing M Pharma (Pharmaceuticals) programs.

One of them is Chandigarh University, which rewards the academic brilliance of students with global opportunities and extraordinary assistance with Scholarships worth Rs. 60 Crores through CUCET - 2023. 

The scholarship amount and the amount to pay after scholarship depend on the CUCET score of the students.

To apply for M.Pharma (Pharmacology) at Chandigarh University, you need to have:

•  B.Pharm with a minimum of 55% aggregate 

•  Registration in your respective State Pharmacy 

•  Qualifying score in CUCET conducted by the

Chandigarh University bhi ek aisi sansthaan hai jo Bharat mein M.Pharma (Pharmacology) pradaan karti hai. Yeh sansthaan NIRF pharmacy ranking 2023 mein saatvi sthaan par hai, jiska score 100 mein se 72.34 hai. Yeh sansthaan chaar saal ka B.Pharma aur do saal ka M.Pharma pharmacology sahit vibhinn visheshataaon mein pradaan karti hai.

Yeh sansthaan apne yogya shikshakon, aadhunik suvidhaon, udyog sahyogon aur placement avsaroon ke liye jaani jaati hai.

As per the NIRF report 2024, 88 MPharma students graduated in 2023. Out of these 86 were placed during 2023 placements. In 2022, out of 78 MPharma graduates 62 were placed successfully. Looking at the past three years' statistics, an improving trend was observed in the number of MPharma students placed.
