While allocating SPA Delhi MPlan seats, the admission committee takes the institute's reservation policy into consideration. As per the SPA Delhi reservation policy, a total of 39 seats are reserved for the admission of SC/ST category students. Out of which, 20 seats are reserved for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes and 19 seats are reserved for the admission of ST category students. Moreover, 5% of seats are reserved for Physically Challenged Persons on a horizontal basis.

The IIEST Shibpur MPlan application process is done online through its official website. Students must complete the registration process. Candidates who intend to join the MPlan course at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur must satisfy particular eligibility criteria. The candidates need to have completed a Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline. For General, General-EWS, and OBC categories, 60% aggregate or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale is expected. For SC/ST/PwD categories, the mark percentage or CGPA is 55% or 6.0, respectively. Another condition is that one must have a valid GATE score, and final-year students may apply provisionally. Admission is finalised through CCMT counselling.

As per the selection process of MPlan at MIT School of Architecture, students must get a UG degree in Architecture/ Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Technology and a PG degree in Geography or Sociology or Economics with a minimum aggregate of 55% or 5.50 CGPA (5% relaxation for reserved category). Aspirants who apply with a valid score of GATE will be given preference. Non-GATE candidates can also apply via scores of PERA CET.

Bachelor's degree (BPlan or equivalent) with a minimum of 60% aggregate is the basic eligibility for the Master of Planning (MPlan) course offered at NIT Calicut. Candidate must have the UG degree in relevant discipline. The degree must have been issued by a recognised university/institute. Candidates with a valid BPlan/BArch/or any other bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or organisation are eligible. In addition, the candidate should have studied the relevant subjects in the degree course as well. The aspirant shall have the pass certificates with them at the time of MPlan course admission as well for verification purposes.
