Yes, it is cheaper to study in Germany compared to USA because public universities in USA have no tuition fees and even at private universities the fees are much lower compared to US universities. Moreover, the cost of living in Germany vs USA is also much cheaper. The tuition fee for MS in Mechanical Engineering in Germany ranges up to 17,000 EUR per year (15.08 Lacs INR).

The PG degree obtained by students in Pharmacy can be named as either MS or M Pharm depending on the university and country where it was obtained1. In Canada, for example, a masters degree in Pharmacy is much more valuable than a PG diploma in Pharmacy1.

Both are postgraduation degrees with their own specializations. Their are differences between them, such as MS is a PG Degree in general surgery where as MD is a PG degree in general medicine. Both can be pursued after MBBS.
