M.Sc. Cut-off

IIT Tirupati accepts the IIT JAM entrance exam for admission to the MSc course across different categories belonging to the AI quota. The cutoff ranks vary for different rounds and categories. Considering the IIT JAM last-round cutoff 2025, the closing ranks varied between 307 and 686 for the General AI category students. IIT Tirupati cutoff 2026 was released for round 1 regarding enrollment to the MSc course and its specialisations. The cutoff was out for various categories under the All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the first round cutoff varied between 296 and 665, with M.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics and M.Sc. in Chemistry being the most and least sought-after courses for this category of candidates.

IIT Jodhpur JAM cutoff 2026 has been released for the third round. The cutoff was out for different All India categories.

NIT Nagaland and NIT Meghalaya both offer the MSc in Physics course via the IIT JAM entrance exam, followed by the CCMN counselling process. 

To get admission to the MSc in Physics course, a General AI category student needs to attain a rank of at least 3849 according to Round 6 closing ranks. On the other hand, for NIT Meghalaya, the highest rank accepted was 2872 in the same round.

NIT Durgapur offers admission to the MSc course across multiple specialisations based on candidates' performance in the IIT JAM entrance exam, followed by the CCMN counselling process. For 2025 admission, the Round 1 closing ranks varied between 247 and 1145 for the students belonging to the General AI quota.
