To be eligible to apply for Geology Course, a candidate must have a minimum of 55% marks in HSC (10+2). The candidates must complete 10+2 in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology along with English as a compulsory language from any recognized education board. Admission to BSc Geology is generally on a merit basis. However, some institutes may conduct their own entrance examinations like Banaras Hindu University. The average fees charged for this course lie in the range of INR 10,000 to INR 30,000. Dual degree courses of BSc Geology-M.Sc Geology spread over a span of 5 years is also offered by some colleges and Universities like IISER, Kolkata.

To be eligible for M.Sc. In Food and Nutrition, the typical requirement is a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Nutrition, Food Science, Dietetics, Home Science, etc. A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences can also be relevant and may qualify you for M.Sc. Food and Nutrition. However, some universities may have specific subject requirements for the Bachelor's degree, like requiring certain core courses in Nutrition, Food Science, Biochemistry, etc. So I would suggest:
1. Check the eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Food and Nutrition programs you are interested in to SEE if a Life Sciences degree from Kirori Mal College meets the requirements
2. If there are specific subject requirements, evaluate if you have taken those core courses as part of your Bachelor's programme
3. If there are any deficiencies, SEE if you can take additional courses to fulfill the requirements before applying to the Master's programme
With some preparation and planning, a Life Sciences degree can be a good foundation for M.Sc. In Food and Nutrition, but you should check the criteria for your target programs to ensure you meet all the requirements.

B. Minimum percentage is 55% or B grade for students with a degree in Pure Sciences :
B.Sc. Life Sciences, B.Sc. Biochemistry, B.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Physiology, B.Sc
Microbiology, B.Sc. Zoology B.Sc. Molecular Biology. C. Minimum 50% or B grade for students with Postgraduate Diplomas in Dietetics, Applied
Nutrition, Sports Sciences Fitness and Nutrition, Public Health, Nutrition Food Processing and
Technology.
