Hello Sai, IIT JAM exam is organized for the selection of candidates for M.Sc. Integrated M.Sc-PhD and other PG Programs. As you have completed the Masters degree in mathematics, you should apply for CSIR NET exam to be eligible for Ph.D. Admission into top institutes. The CSIR NET exam is held twice a year for the selection of candidates for lectureship and JRF. After qualifying the exam, you will be eligible for the higher education, like Ph.D. exam. Yes absolutely there is. The college conducts those tests. So in order to participate there you need to fill up the form that they release in their website every year before the start of new batch.

you need to check the conducting committee of the exam and see the syllabus there also you need not study a lot of books just basic ideas are necessary to be clear.
