To be eligible for the BCom programmes at SRM University, Sikkim, candidates must ensure they meet the requisite academic qualifications. The selection of candidates is based on the scores obtained in the last qualifying exam. To be considered for the BCom programmes, applicants must have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board. Preference is given to those candidates who have valid scores in Class 12.

Yes, You can. Most universities accept candidates from various Science backgrounds like Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, or Environmental Science itself. Since chemistry plays a significant role in environmental studies (like pollution control, soil chemistry, water quality analysis), your background actually fits well.

But still, I's suggest you to check the eligibility criteria of the specific university you're interested in, as some may require environmental Science or a related subject as one of your core papers. But generally, you're eligible.
