The selection process for IISER Pune MSc courses differs according to the specialisations. Moreover, the selection process for the Master of Science course differs according to the offered specialisations. The selection process is done based on candidates' achieved scores on IIT JAM, GATE, IISER Entrance Test and the institute's in-house written test. For the only MSc in Mathematics in Computing Programme, the institute accepts written examination scores conducted by IISER Pune.

IISER Pune offers an MSc course for the duration of two years and offers an integrated BSc + MSc course for the duration of five years. Moreover, the institute offers four specialsiations in MSc courses, and each specialisation has different eligibility criteria. MSc in Chemistry: Candidates must complete their BSc/ BSc in Chemistry as one of the main subjects with an aggregate of 60% (55% for reserved categories). For admission, the institute accepts IIT JAM scores.

You can pursue an MSc in Home Science after doing a general BSc degree. There may be instances that depend on whether universities accept students with a general Science background. IIT JAM is the entrance exam for MSc admission at IIT Tirupati. The Round 1 cutoff list for admission has been released, showing that the closing ranks varied between 307 and 602 for students belonging to the General AI quota. Therefore, for Round 1 admission, the minimum cutoff rank required was 307 or less for Mathematics and Statistics. Please note that the cutoff ranks differ for various rounds, specialisations, and categories. If aspirants are not eligible for admission to certain MSc specialisations due to competitive ranks, they should refer to the table below to explore other options available with less competitive cutoff ranks
