However the eligibility criteria for M.Tech admission is a bachelor's degree in engineering or M.Sc or final year M.Sc candidates of relevant discipline are also eligible. Further M.Sc through distance learning form recognised universities candidates are also eligible for PGET.

The institute has not announced the fees for the AY 2025-26. When PGIMER will announce the fee, students will be able to pay it using debit or credit card. Last year, the application fee for this course was INR 1,500 for the general and OBC categories and INR 1,200 for the SC/ST category.
