The hostel fees for MSc students at VBSPU is INR 1.06 lakh. This fee includes room charges, mess charges, security charges, etc. Other than this, students have to pay other fees, such as tuition fees, academic fees, etc.

Puravanchal University MSc admissions are done based on academic record. The university checks the past academic performances of the applicants. Though it is nowhere mentioned if students can take admission without final year graduation results or not.

VBSPU Jaunpur offers two types of scholarships to offer financial support. Students from the Backward Caste, General, and Minority categories whose parents/guardians have a total income not more than INR 2 lakh, as well as SC/ST category students whose income does not exceed INR 2.5 lakh, may apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship. The university's scholarship scheme also covers Kargil Martyrs' and victims of natural calamities, such as tsunamis. However, according to the official website, there is no course-specific scholarship offered.

Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU), Jaunpur offers 5,903 seats in the MSc programme for the academic year 2025. Seats are allocated on the basis of eligibility and performance in the entrance examination. Candidates must obtain at least 50% aggregate marks in their undergraduate degree from a recognised university. However, a specific percentage of seats may be reserved for SC, ST, and OBC categories to promote social representation. Thus, the counselling process helps in the fair allotment of seats based on merit.
