Yes, Master of Science (MSc) subjects are generally more challenging than Bachelor of Science (BSc) subjects:

  • Academic Achievement: A Master's degree requires a higher level of academic achievement than a Bachelor's degree.
  • Coursework: A Master's degree requires additional coursework.
  • Time and Effort: Postgraduate degrees tend to be more challenging than undergraduate ones.
  • Self-Study: A Master's degree has a condensed timetable, less contact time, and more focus on self-study.
  • Thesis: A Master's with a thesis is arguably the most difficult of all.

MSc course focuses on a specific area of interest in detail. The coursework consists of modules in your chosen discipline. You may also work on an independent dissertation project to graduate. The areas of the course highly depend on the specializations chosen. In case of a general MSc, the electives will define the focus in the last semesters.

Any student with a backlog in any BSc subject is not eligible to enrol for an MSc program. They first need to clear all the exams with passing marks in their undergraduation. After successfully passing their bachelor's degree with a percentage that is acceptable in their choice of college, they can be eligible for an MSc course.
