The University of Mysore offers admission to various courses based on merit followed by rounds of counselling. As per cutoff 2022, the Round 1 closing percentile for top courses including M.Sc. in Geography stood at 73.46, for M.Sc. in Statistics stood at 75.41, for M.Sc. in Biochemistry stood at 75.25, M.Sc. in Zoology stood at 79.13 and M.Sc. in Molecular Biology at 73.79 for the General category All India candidates.Candidates can check out the round-wise and course-wise University of Mysore PG cutoff marks in the table below:

The Karnataka government founded the public university known as Vijayanagara Krishnadevaraya University (VSKUB), located in Bellary.
