Applicants need to have accomplished a B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic programme from an institution approved by PGIMER, Chandigarh, and the Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of 55% in order to be considered for the M.Sc. Nursing program at PGIMER Chandigarh. Other than this, the admission to M.Sc at PGIMER, Chandigarh is on the basis of the score obtained in PGIMER Entrance exam. The minimum marks for each year varies as per the seat aloocation and no of applicants,thus, it is advisable to visit the official website to have a detailed insight on the minimum marks required for M.Sc at PGIMER in 2023.

There are many different types of Courses offered here. Some of them with their fee structure and Eligibility criteria in this institute are as follows : 

  • M.Sc + Ph.D - Rs 43,750 (1st Yr Fees) ( Graduation )
  • M.Sc - Rs 75,600 (1st Yr Fees) ( BE/BTech )

Students with a B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree from any recognized University/Institute/College in the branch of study as one of the honours/major subjects can apply.

The institute selects candidates for the course based on their score in IISER Aptitude Test for the ones who are applying through SCB channel. Other than this, candidates satisfying the JEE Advanced cut off or a valid score in KVPY are also granted admission.

Minimum 60% marks in aggregate (overall percentage, not only in majoring subject) or an equivalent C.G.P.A on a 10-point scale (55% or an equivalent C.G.P.A on a 10-point scale in aggregate for SC, ST, and PwD candidates) in B.Sc. any specialisation or B.Tech.

The Sharda University NEET cut off 2023 rank for the OBC category is expected to range from 110 to 210 marks. Sharda University Greater Noida NEET cutoff for SC is expected to be 190 to 210 marks. Likewise, the expected opening for ST is 101 to 168 marks.M.Sc.

in Biotechnology, Agriculture, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Medicinal Chemistry) with minimum 60% marks.

To do M.Sc, the minimum JIPMER cutoff for general candidates was :

Aggregate marks- 50

Minimum aggregate marks for MD/ MS-500

Minimum aggregate marks for MDS-200
