Admission to MSc at NIT Meghalaya is based on the CCMN counselling process. CCMN released cutoff for admission to the institute. Find below the CCMN cutoff for M.Sc in Physics for 2023:

IIT Jam, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The IIT Jam will have two papers. Paper 1 consists of Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics. Paper 2 covers economics, Biotechnology, Physics, and Mathematics Statitics. The duration of the IIT Jam exam is three hours. The questions paper has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. IIT Jam exam papers will be for 100 marks.

IIT JAM exam 2026 is going to be held on Feb 15, 2026. The result will be declared on March 20, 2026. Admit card will be out on the official website.

For admission to MSc programme at NIT Nagaland candidate must complete the institution's entrance standards, which include achieving a valid score in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for MSc followed by CCMN Counselling.  Also candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e. Bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate.  NIT Meghalaya conducts its own admission process for the left over seats from the CCMN counselling process.

NIT  Nagaland is among the newly established NITs in the northeast region. It managed to secure 201-250 band under Engineering category. As for its placement,   NIT Nagaland hasn't released the 2023 placement report. However, its previous year's placement was very decent. The the highest and mean package offered during NIT Nagaland placements 2022 stood at INR 45 LPA and  INR 8.09 LPA, respectively. Yes, NIT Nagaland does offers MSc at postgraduate level. The MSc specialisation offered are in Physics and Chemistry at NIT Nagaland. Admission to the MSc programme is based on candidates performance in the qualifying exam i.e. bacheloir’s degree in BSc. Also candiates must apply via the CCMN counselling and later appear for the NIT Nagaland entrance exam for the left over seats.

At Maharaja Ganga Singh University it has its own placement cell available in university because of this reason placement ratios are also very high.

In M.Sc Computer Science a total of 23 students got placed. The highest package offered here was 5.71 Lakh. A total of 101 students opted for higher studies in this college.

Some of the companies visited the campus were- Bio Force Agri Industries,Bikaner etc.

MGSU when conducting admission process all process are available on his own website with proper things.

In last year M.Sc cutoff is near about 60 percentage I checked.

In cutoff marks always up and down is normally shows because of Verity of students applying for admission because of this reasons you check many cut-off in some years in lower side and some years you shows cut-off marks on higher sides.

In Maharaja Ganga singh University for the admission in MSc you need to give URATPG. 

Along with this exam score you need to fulfill the basic criteria in graduation degree with a minimum of 50-55% percentage.

The total tuition fees for Msc course is 1.3 K - 64K.
