M.Tech Counselling

After your M.Tech entrance exam results are out you need to register online for the counselling process of the universities you're targeting. Make sure to upload all the important docs and submit the counselling fees. You will then receive a confirmation mail or message from the college authorities.
Further you have to log in to the respective counselling portal and select your preferred colleges and M.Tech course for admission. Then seat will be allotted to you on the basis of your rank and score in the entrance exam. After the seat is allotted to you, you must visit the college to confirm your admission by paying the M.Tech course fees.

If you're unable to produce the OBC-NCL certificate during M.Tech counseling, you can generally apply via the general category, provided you meet the eligibility criteria for it. However, this depends on the specific rules and regulations of the institute you're applying to. 

Most institutions require candidates to submit the correct category certificate to claim reservation benefits. Without the OBC-NCL certificate, you would not be eligible for the OBC reservation and would be considered under the general category instead. 

It's a good idea to directly contact the counseling authority or the admission office of the specific institute for detailed guidance on this matter. They may also allow you to submit the certificate later or guide you on any alternative processes.

The candidates are eligible for further rounds of counselling if they are not allotted the seat as per their first preference. Candidates who are allotted a seat in their first preference college and specialisation are considered successfully admitted. They are required to confirm their admission by completing the necessary formalities within the specified time frame.Candidates who are not allotted a seat in their first preference college and specialisation may become eligible for further rounds of counseling. In subsequent counseling rounds, these candidates have the opportunity to revise their preferences and choose from the available options.
