After your M.Tech entrance exam results are out you need to register online for the counselling process of the universities you're targeting. Make sure to upload all the important docs and submit the counselling fees. You will then receive a confirmation mail or message from the college authorities.
Further you have to log in to the respective counselling portal and select your preferred colleges and M.Tech course for admission. Then seat will be allotted to you on the basis of your rank and score in the entrance exam. After the seat is allotted to you, you must visit the college to confirm your admission by paying the M.Tech course fee

If you're unable to produce the OBC-NCL certificate during M.Tech counseling, you can generally apply via the general category, provided you meet the eligibility criteria for it. However, this depends on the specific rules and regulations of the institute you're applying to.
Most institutions require candidates to submit the correct category certificate to claim reservation benefits. Without the OBC-NCL certificate, you would not be eligible for the OBC reservation and would be considered under the general category instead.

The Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is a registration portal. Candidates who pass GATE exam are required to apply on COAP portal for counselling. Only the students who register successfully on the portal become eligible for admission in an M.Tech course of IIT Jodhpur.
