For M.Tech at IIAEIT Pune, the first-year fees amount to INR 3 lakhs so total fee would be arounf 6 lac and The hostel accommodation provided by IIAEIT Pune charges around from Rs. 43,000 to Rs. 48,000 per year for boys and Rs. 43,000 to Rs. 48,000 per year for girls. 

So the total estimated cost is around 7lac for fee and hostel and rest will be your living expenses for books, food and outing.

Yes, Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune accepts GATE scores for admission to M.Tech programme. Aspirants who have not passed or appeared for GATE, can take admission by appearing for the SIT Entrance Exam. Selected candidates are then further called for a personal interview round. Once the selection process is over, the institute releases a merit list based on entrance examination scores, branch preferences, and availability of seats.

Hello Chinmay, Perhaps both these got deemed university status in same year but MIT has presence in engineering education for more than 25 years. I would therefore advise you to seek admission in MIT first.
