Apply for IITs newer ones as there are high chances of getting there. You have a slight chance of getting Madras/Roorkee/BHU. If your category rank is under 200, then you have good chances of getting IITs.

There are many good colleges available in India too which can provide you better placement & good salary. If still you want do it from abroad, Germany is considered hub for MS course, you can do from there.

Once you have registered on VIT University official website for VITMEE, kindly login to the VITMEE portal using your login details. On the options to the left, click on Information Brochure and download it. Open the downloaded document. On page 14 of the document, you will find the entire syllabus for VITMEE.

Hello Sandesh,
Students who are doing M.Tech are given stipend during the study period. Both these institutions give scholarships also but normally for advertising purpose rather than any meaningful programme. Don't count on it.

Dear Shyam, if you are interested in teaching then there is a more scope of doing M.Tech in a particular subject of civil engineering. There is also a chance of a job but more chances of teaching in well-reputed college.

It would not be much beneficial for you as your graduation will not support your Masters but then also you can also go for it as there are several companies that demand dual expertise.

Hello Waqar,
The cut-off for GATE is 25 for 2017. Therefore, you are not eligible to appear for selection based on GATE scores. However, you can apply for various state level entrance examinations like OJEE for Odisha, WBUT for West Bengal, PGECET for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka etc. Based on these scores, you can choose a college for yourself for M.Tech. Apart from this, some private universities like GITAM (Vishakhapatnam), SRM University, KIIT (Odisha), VIT University, AMITY etc. conduct their own entrance examination. You can apply for these as well.
