International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar has not mentioned an offline mode of application for the M.Tech admissions. However, it is important to note here that the accepted entrance exam which is GATE, is not open for offline registrations.

Candidates who are not applying for GATE or have received their scorecard will need to contact the admission desk of IIIT Bhubaneshwar.

No, the IIIT Bhubaneshwar M.Tech admissions for 2026 are currently not open. The institute usually begins the admission process around the month of August each year for M.Tech courses. The selection of candidates is base on either the GATE or the in-house IIIT Bhubaneshwar M.Tech entrance exam.

No, candidates who are applying through their GATE score are not required to appear for the Written Test conducted by IIIT Bhubaneshwar for M.Tech admissions. This Written Test is only meant for candidates who did not apply through a valid GATE score. Other candidates will be moved directly to the PI round during M.Tech admissions.

No, GATE is not a mandatory entrance exam for securing admissions at IIIT Bhubaneshwar. Candidates who fail to secure a GATE scorecard can still appear for the IIIT Bhubaneshwar M.Tech entrance exam which includes a written test. The syllabus of this written test is the same as the GATE.

A GATE score of 700 to 800 is mainly required for M.Tech admission at IIT (especially for top IITs). However, the score also depends on the IIT popularity, branch popularity, and other factors. For new IITs, a GATE score of 500 to 600 is mainly required.

It is advised to check the past year's GATE cutoff trends before opting for counselling and admission.

Yes, GATE is a mandatory entrance exam for CGC Landran M.Tech admissions. The selection of candidates for the M.Tech course is done during the PTU counseling. During the PTU counseling round, CGC Landran will look at the GATE score obtained by a candidate to decide their admission.

The CGC Landran PTU counseling for M.Tech admissions is yet to begin for the 2026 academic year. Generally, the PTU counseling at CGC Landran begins in the month of July each year.

Thus, candidates should check for the PTU counseling dates once the GATE results have been declared for 2026.
