TKM College of Engineering can be considered a good option for studying either BTech or M.Tech courses.
For the BTech course, the KEAM entrance exam is compulsory, and for the M.Tech course, the accepted entrance exam is GATE.
The institute also ranks 74th among all private Engineering colleges as per India Today's Ranking 2026. India Today has also ranked the institute #101 among all the Engineering colleges in India.

For TKM College of Engineering M.Tech admission, students have to take the GATE exam and appear for the counselling process. Candidates can go to the official GATE website and pay the non-refundable application fee. (INR 1000 for female, SC, ST, and PWD candidates and INR 2000 for other applicants- Extended period fee will be different).

Congratulations! You daughter has good academic record. To pursue a full time course, she will need to leave her job to study full-time for two years. For specialized M.Tech programs at IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IISc, she should clear the GATE exam with high rank.

If your goal is research or a PhD later, IISc is often considered a slightly stronger choice than most IITs, though IITs tend to have an edge in industry placements.

IIIT Hyderabad is often rated on par with top IITs for ECE. BITS Pilani and Delhi Technological University are also popular alternatives. These colleges have strong industry tie-ups and research output, so they are worth considering even if you don't get into an IIT or NIT.
