RGIPT M.Tech admission 2024 is entrance-based. Given below is the detailed RGIPT M.Tech admission process:
STEP 1: Application Process
Fill out the online application form available on the RGIPT website. In the online application form, candidates must provide their personal phone number and email ID and must pay the non-refundable application fees of INR 500 (for General and OBC candidates) and, INR 250 (for SC, ST and, PwD category candidates) before filing of application form.

RGIPT M.Tech in Chemical Engineering curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Additionally, students are also required to work on the thesis. Candidates who get admission to the M.Tech in Chemical Engineering programme are required to study some of the following subjects mentioned below:

Hence, the RGIPT M.Tech course curriculum includes subjects semester-wise and, is the amalgamation of theory, practical and, tutorial. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology follows the reservation policy as per the Government of India directives. The seat allocation to the SC, ST, OBC, General and EWS categories is in accordance with the Government rules. Given below is the RGIPT M.Tech seat reservation:
- 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% seats for ST, 27% seats for OBC (non-creamy layer) and, 10% seats for are reserved for EWS candidates in each discipline
- A relaxation of 5% marks or 0.5 CPI (on a 10-point scale) shall be admissible on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree by SC and ST candidates

A total of 60 students can pursue M.Tech programme offered at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology across various specialisations. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology does not offer any scholarship to the M.Tech programme students but provide financial assistance in the form of Institute Assistantships to students admitted under the Full Time Regular Registration Category.
Presently, assistantships at INR 12,400 pm are available for GATE-qualified candidates. Non- GATE qualified candidates, admitted to the programmes at the EIB Centre will be provided with an Institute assistantship of INR 8,000 pm. To take admission for M.Tech at Bihar Animal Science University, you need to first appear for the entrance exams accepted for M.Tech admissions which is ICAR AIEEA.
