It is not true that Government College of Engineering Amravati offers 100% placements for M.Tech students. In the year 2023 placement drive just two students of the twenty six eligible M.Tech students got placed leaving a placement percentage of about 7.69%. The median salary was approximately INR 4,00,000 per annum for these placements.
However, when compared with those of B.Tech students at the same institution; the rates of placement for M.Tech are way much lower. However, the college’s placement cell engages in preparing them by organizing regular drives and delivering essential training support.

Yes, TANCET exam is required for admission to M.Tech at Sona College of Technology. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test which is mandatory for admission to MTech. Applicants seeking admission to M.Tech are required to apply and appear for TANCET to be eligible for admission.

As per the SIRT Bhopal admission process, the selection to a full-time M.Tech prorgamme at the college is merit-based. Candidates must be graduated with BTech from a recognised board to be eligible for admission. The college offers direct admission to students who meet the basic eligibility requirements.
