According to the eligibility criteria, candidates who have a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with at least 55 percent marks (50 percent marks for reserved categories) are eligible for the CSIR NET exam. It can be added here that the age restriction for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is up to 28 years from July 2022, and there is relaxation of 5 years in the age limit for candidates of the reserved category.
