SVCE accepts CET exam scores for BTech and TANCET/CET scores for M.Tech course. Out of the 1,020 total seats for the BTech course, 50% are filled up through Tamil Nadu Government Department of Technical Education Online-counseling. To be noted is that the seats offered by SVCE are filled up within the first few days of counseling with significant-high cut-off marks. The remaining 50% seats are filled through management quota, as per the Govt. norms.

The selection criteria for M.Tech at NIT Uttarakhand is as follows:
- Candidates are required to appear for GATE.
- Shortlisted candidates must appear for CCMT, which is the counselling process for MTech.
Candidates must follow the above mentioned process and meet the eligibility criteria to get a chance at being shortlisted for admission.

Yes, candidates can get admission to ICT M.Tech course without GATE. Candidates can also opt for other entrance exam option, such as GPAT or GAT-B exams. Further, some ME/ MTech/ M.Chem.Engg. specialisations, an institute-level written test, and an interview is conducted along with due consideration to the exam scores for final selection. Its is mandatory for students to have completed bachelor's degree with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the backward class candidates).

KIT College of Engineering offers M.Tech in a full-time mode across six specialisations. The total seat intake for the programme is 36. There is only six seats available for each specialisation. The admission process is common for all the M.Tech specialisations.

Candidates seeking admission in the M.Tech course of the GH Raisoni University Saikheda have to necessarily meet the described eligibility criteria. Appearing for the GATE exam and obtaining a decent score is necessary for the admission to be granted. Therefore, there is no provision for direct admission in M.Tech at GH Raisoni University Saikheda.
