MTech placements are good at Nirma University. During the placement drive 2025, 100% placement was recorded in Cyber Security branch. In Construction Technology Management and VLSI, placement percentage recorded was above 90%.

Candidates seeking to enrol for VLSI Design in M.Tech branch must have a BE/ BTech/ AMIE in ECE/ EEE/ EIE/ Instrumentation/ CSE/ IT or its equivalent degree.

At Punjab's Desh Bhagat University (DBU), the maximum remuneration package is around 10-15 LPA. The typical compensation package is 4.50 LPA.  DBU provides quality placements with numerous MNCs and other national-level businesses. For placements, many firms, including Wipro, come to campus. 
An M.Tech. graduate's pay varies according to their area of expertise, abilities, and experience. The typical package range for an M.Tech graduate is between INR 4 lacs to 15 lacs.

Out of 2,234 students, a total of 856 were placed during the 2022 placements at Desh Bhagat University. Additionally, during the Desh Bhagat University placements 2022, the top and average packages were offered at INR 8.00 LPA and INR 4.50 LPA, respectively. According to Anna University Management NIRF report 2026, the key highlights of Anna University MTech placements 2025 as compared with 2024 and 2023 are presented below:

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai usually releases the application form for VITMEE in January and concludes the VITMEE exam in April. Candidates willing to take admission in M.Tech at VIT, Chennai must take this entrance exam, which is VIT's own entrance exam. The candidate should have a minimum of 60% aggregate in BTech to apply for VITMEE, also students need to prepare well for the exam described above to become eligible for the counselling process followed by document verification and fee payment.

The Vellore Institue of Technology (VIT), Chennai accepts admission in the M.Tech course through its own conducted entrance exam, VITMEE. Candidates willing to take admission in M.Tech at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) must take this entrance exam. Candidates get selected based on the rank they secured in VITMEE. Suppose the applicant’s rank is above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by VIT. In that case, they become eligible to register for counselling, document verification, and fee payment.
