To get into Silver Oak College of Engineering & Technology for a M.Tech course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. Students must pass Graduation with a 50% aggregate. Silver Oak College of Engineering & Technology offers full-time M.Tech courses of two years' duration. Students can get into this course based on a valid ACPC Counselling.

Candidates who apply for admission to the M.Tech programme at Arya College of Engineering and IT shall be a holder of BE/BTech. degree in relevant discipline from RTU or any other recognised institution with at least 55% marks or 6.25 CGPA on a 10-point scale. The requirement shall be relaxed to 50% marks or 5.75 CGPA for SC/ST candidates.

The specific programme will determine how many seats are available overall for the M.Tech programme at RGUKT Nuzvid. According to reservation criteria there are normally 30 seats available for the M.Tech in Computational Engineering program, divided among the following categories: General, OBC, SC/ST and EWS.
GATE scores are the main factor used for admissions; if there are openings, certain seats may be given to non-GATE applicants using entrance exams unique to the university. According to government regulations, 5% of seats may also be set aside for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.
