Due to recent developments on recognition issue of AMIE and such course, there is no definite answer to your question. The answer of your question was Yes before MHRD recognition withdrawal notification on 2013. Several Institutions have notified from time to time about their acceptance of AMIE as a valid eligibility or not. I will suggest you to write a mail (because I want you to have written assurance) and follow up with your query to know what is the current stand of IIT on recognition issue. No, it is not possible in your case, if you are pursuing M.Tech which is of 2 years duration. Let me clear you the possibility of migration. Migration is possible only, if you are pursuing 3 years duration or more than 3 years duration course.
