Though you don't want to appear for GATE, you need to crack an entrance exam to get admission for M.Tech in a college. For private colleges, there are separate exams while for government colleges, you need to appear for any state entrance exam.

1) The applicants should be domicile residents of the state of Karnataka.
2) Should have completed B.Tech course from an institute of board which is recognized by Karnataka.
3) General category applicants should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. 45% marks must have been scored by the applicants of the reserved category.
4) Valid GATE scores should have been secured by the applicants. The score card has to be produced for verification. Regards.

First and foremost, you have to understand that there is no point comparing M.Tech and MBA courses. Both are specialized degrees and have value in their respective grounds. Both M.Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance over the time. M.Tech or MBA is always an additional advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of experience, knowledge or seniority. Whether it be an IT, manufacturing, or R&D driven establishment, there would be requirements for both M. Techs and MBAs. The M.
