The students must fulfil the criteria for the BCA course. It is to pass class 12 board exams. The minimum percentage of atleast 50% is required from a reputed institute. The student can pass the exam with any major, but they must have English as compulsory subject. Education board can be any of the following, which are CBSE 12, ISB or HBSC 12.

The course selection process at MAIMT is to clear class 12 board exams with a minimum marks of 50% from a good college. The student can pass the exam with any major, but with English as compulsory subject. The board of education could be either CBSE 12, ISB or HBSC 12

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| MCA | Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subject in one semester / in one year or Mathematics at 10 + 2 level. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidates passed in final examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/ Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/ Institute of Company Secretaries of India are also eligible to apply. |
