Maharaja Ganga Singh University offers both, LLB and BA LLB. While the course duration for LLB is 3 years, for BA LLB, its 5 years. LLB Admission in MGSU Bikaner are based on the prescribed eligibility criteria; for LLB is UG or PG in Arts/Science/Commerce/Medicine/ Engineering/Nursing /Veterinary/Agriculture or Shastri/Acharya/ Ayurvedaacharya/ Ayurveda Vachaspati or equivalent with 45% marks. And the eligibility criteria for BA LLB is Class 12 or equivalent from any recognised board with minimum 48% marks.

Both MGSU and Dr. K.N. Modi University provide placements to their students. However, their placement statistics for MSc vary a lot. While the highest and average package at Dr. K.N. Modi University stood at INR 6.8 LPA and INR 5 LPA respectively. At MGSU, the highest package as per the AQAR report stood at INR 5.71 LPA. Both, MGSU Bikaner and Nirwan University offer MSc courses across 8 specialisations. However, most of the specialisations offered in both the universities vary from each other. While MGSU Bikaner offers MSc in Computer Science, Environmental Science, Cyber Security, and others. Nirwan University offers M.Sc in Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture, among others. Students can choose the institute depending on their desired courses, fees, and other criteria.

A total of 484 colleges along with, 120 B.Ed. colleges are affiliated with Maharaja Ganga Singh University. Maharaja Ganga Singh University offers scholarships to encourage meritorious students and academic excellence. It also offers scholarships to students belonging to the reserved category as per the government guidelines. Scholarships offered at MGSU Bikaner are:

• Post-matric Scholarship is a centrally sponsored scheme, implemented by State Government. It provides financial assistance to students belonging to ST, SC, OBC/SEBC/EBC, pursuing higher education at post-secondary stage.

Maharaja Ganga Singh University Rajasthan placement reports for the years, 2024 and 2023 have not been released yet. However, as per the AQAR report, the the highest package offered during MGSU Bikaner placements 2022 was INR 5.71 LPA. A total of 23 students were placed and the highest number of students were placed from MSc Computer Science. The top recruiters during the 2022 placement drive were, Govt AYUSH Wellness Center, Dunes Milk Processing Pvt. Ltd., ASKIN Softech, among others.

Ganga University Bikaner has an active placement cell that provides placement assistance to the interested students who wish to seek jobs in their respective sectors. The 2024 placement reports of Odisha Open University for MSc have not been released yet. However, as per the AQAR report, the the highest package offered during MGSU Bikaner placements 2022 was INR 5.71 LPA.
