Thane has about 350+ colleges including both private and government colleges. The top colleges are Amity University Online, Dr. V. N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies, A. P. Shah Institute of Technology, Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training, New Horizon Institute of Technology & Management, and many others.
Admission to Thane colleges will be based on merit or through entrance exams scores like JEE Main, CAT, MHT CET, etc.

If you fail to pay first instalment within 5 days of receiving offer letter, you will be automatically put on waitlist for higher-preference branches in the upcoming merit lists. This means you will miss original branch allocated.

If there is any discrepancy in category certificates during verification, candidates may be removed from the current merit list. They will, however, still be considered in the next merit list, and separate communication will be sent regarding the change in status.

The SITEEE Exam Fee is INR 2,250 per test which is non-refundable and non-transferable. Separately, you have to pay SIT Pune Institute Charges of INR 1,000 which is also non-refundable and non-transferable. This is must for merit list consideration. If you fail to pay this fee, you will not be included in merit list or branch allocation.

Yes, you are eligible if you have passed a Diploma course or have a B.Sc. degree in the relevant stream with at least 45% aggregate. Based on this, apply for Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) admissions.
