There is no provision of lateral admission in B.Tech courses through LEET at VJTI. The major admissions to VJTI, Mumbai are strictly based on merit only through on-line centralized admission process as per the guidelines of Government of Maharashtra and are conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. VJTI also provides direct 2nd year admission to engineering Diploma/ B.Sc. Holders through State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State. Hence if you have Diploma/ B.Sc. Than can only entered here through the direct 2nd year admission mode.

With the promising avenues available at SNDT UNIVERSITY, it is great opportunity as you can get admission for specialised courses which may otherwise be difficult to get in a Mumbai University. Except being a Coed college, since it is an all girls university, it has great opportunities. Better to enjoy the infrastructure, the freedom, the array of festivals, competitions which are all just amazing. Matunga SNDT
