The students from the institute are hired by many big construction companies as an employee and many construction sites as an intern. Mumbai is one of the fastest developing cities of India and has a large scope in construction era for civil engineers which the same is reflected in the placement stats of the institute. The average placement for the undergrads is 8 LPA (civil students) and 14 LPA is the highest package offered to the student placed in Ultratech Cement Pvt. Ltd. Textile Engineering has attracted nearly best placements. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 12 LPA. Some top Organizations like Siemens, ABB, Ultratech Cement, Asitya Birla Cellulose, Raymonds, Pantaloons, Bharat Forge, Hindustan Copper, Aditya Birla, Reliance Oil and Gas, etc. And numerous others come to campus. The percentage rate is almost 95% for textile engineering. The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month, although Textile students get only about 20,000. Mumbai is a one of the well-known engineering colleges in Maharashtra and is said to be ranked second in Maharashtra after College of engineering, Pune (excluding IITs and NITs). Getting into this college through MH-CET requires a lot of efforts too. Placements of VJTI are pretty good when compared to other government colleges in Maharashtra. For EEE department last time (2016-17) out of 64 students who applied to placements from EEE department 59 students were placed meaning 92.18 percent placement for EEE which is a quite good number. LLB first because the Eligibility Criteria for LLM is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in LL.B, subject to valid score in entrance exam followed by an interview. CLAT, AILET, LSAT, NEST are the exams through you can take admission. Generally, universities offering LL.M. course conduct an Entrance Test for admission to the program. The application forms for this course are available in the month of April-May every year.
