University also provides accommodation of your choice (AC and Non AC) along with reasonable mess food. It has a night canteen and also provides with indoor sports within hostel such as Carrom, Table Tennis and Chess. Amity University, Mumbai also supports a lot of outdoor games like Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, and Badminton. When it comes to academics Amity University have best faculty who all have good experience in the industry and are fully aware of the current trends of respective industry. University also gives a lot of opportunity to a student to interact with industry experts during guest lectures and teach students to build their own professional network which can be helpful in future. Overall I would say Amity University Mumbai offers a lot more than other university or colleges.

BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication) of Amity University. I personally think is better. They often have events and campaigns that help them practice theoretical knowledge in real life. Their faculty has some really experienced professors who can impart their knowledge to the students in a better way than other colleges. Their unique and diverse courses help the students understand Journalism and mass communication in a better way in all aspects. Amity also has some extra courses like a minor track (a short Diploma course from all the degrees that amity has to offer) and a foreign language (German, French, Spanish) which makes Amity Unique and better than most of the other colleges.

I understand your concern and angst. For whatever reasons you want to shift your son from present engineering college to another. I am afraid, this move though theoretically possible is just not feasible in practice. The best option is if course to continue in same college. However, if you cannot do this, then next best option is to withdraw from the college and seek fresh admission in 2nd year after taking part in admission process of lateral admission once again.
However, nothing is lost without fighting. Hence, you can think of giving one try. For this you need to obtain certificate from intended college that they are willing to give admission to your son and then ask present college to give you TC.
