In Mumbai, all colleges are affiliated to Mumbai University (MU) except ICT. VJTI, SPIT-SPCE and KJ Somaiya Vidyavihar are the only autonomous institutes under MU which are best in Mumbai.

First of all, let me make it clear to my fellow students that VIT, Pune is indeed Vishwakarma Institute of Technology and not Vellore Institute of Technology.
