Let me advise that admission to engineering colleges in Maharashtra are based on the exam called MHT CET. This is conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra. Hence, your marks of 12th only decide whether you are eligible or not.

In Pune, Best Institute is a College of Engineering, Pune. If you want to do B. Tech from Rajasthan. No. Institute of Distance and Open Learning does not offer any pure science course it offers only computer science and IT in distance mode in science steam. you have to start from FY BA or FY B.Com
alternatively you may pursue B.Sc from IGNOU and can get credit transfer for all the subjects passed from Mumbai University. you may opt a new college under Mumbai university who may ask you to attend only practicals and skip theory lectures.
