Admission to Government Polytechnic, Pune, is extremely competitive, with cutoffs changing every year depending on the demand for courses and the performance of candidates. The cutoff for admission to the Diploma in Computer Engineering for the 2022-2023 academic year was a merit number of 1,545, but for 2024-2025, the estimated cutoff is likely to be between 1,400 and 1,500. These are the ranks or merit numbers that a candidate needs to have to secure admission, with lower numbers signaling a higher rank. As cutoffs vary annually, it is better to verify the current information on the official website or at the time of admission.

With a NEET score of 347 and as an OBC candidate in Maharashtra, you satisfy the eligibility requirement for BAMS and BHMS courses since the cutoff for candidates from the OBC category generally falls around the 40th percentile. Even so, in government colleges it may be difficult to get admitted with higher marks being the deciding factor.
