IIAEIT is a private college with AICTE accreditation. IIAEIT provides a four-year, full-time BTech programme in aerospace, aeronautical, or avionics engineering at the undergraduate level. IIAEIT provides a four-year, full-time BTech programme in aerospace, aeronautical, or avionics engineering at the undergraduate level in association with Ajeenkya DY Patil University and Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organization (AERO) at ADYPU campus in Pune.
The AERO-CET/ JEE Main/ MAHCET scores are used to determine admission to IIAEIT. At IIAEIT, the minimum cut-off for a B.Tech degree is between 70%-75% in 2023.

The Indian Institute for Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology has been a reputable name in aviation and aerospace education for the past 20 years and is situated in Pune. The MIT School of Engineering in Pune is well-regarded and has been recognized for its academic excellence and research activities. It is ranked as the 1st in Maharashtra and 11th in India among private engineering colleges by Outlook Survey.
