Ajeenkya DY Patil University-School of Film and Media is recognised for its unique focus on film and media education within Pune. Whether it is the "best" would depend on specific criteria such as facilities, faculty expertise, industry connections, and overall student satisfaction. It's advisable to research more about their programs, campus environment, alumni success, and industry partnerships to determine if it aligns well with your educational and career goals.

With your SC category rank of 38,000 and CRL rank of 5 lakh, gaining admission to top NITs in Maharashtra may be difficult. However, there are some possibilities:

  • Lower NITs: Consider applying to lower-ranked NITs with more flexible cutoffs. These NITs may consider candidates from higher rankings.
  • Keep an eye on the category-specific cutoffs. NITs often assign seats based on category ranks, which could benefit you.
  • State Quota: Given your interest in Maharashtra, think about the state quota for NITs. Certain slots are designated for students from specific states.
